Easy Spicy Ramen Recipe Better Than Takeout

Ingredients

  • 2 pack ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce or sriracha
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs (optional)
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Vegetables of choice (mushrooms, spinach, corn – optional)

Instructions

  • Heat the broth Add broth to a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  • Build the flavor Stir in soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, hot sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Cook the noodles Add ramen noodles and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring gently until tender.
  • Add extras Add vegetables during the last minute of cooking. Eggs should be added when serving.
