Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, honey, and mustard. Stir until smooth. No clumps, please—we’re aiming for glossy not chunky.
  • Add Worcestershire (if using) and spices. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let it thicken and kiss the flavors together.
