Sauté aromatics: Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft and fragrant.
Add tomato sauce: Pour in Campbell’s tomato sauce and stir to combine.
Season: Add basil, oregano, sugar, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir well.
Simmer: Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste & adjust: Taste and tweak seasoning as needed.
Serve: Pour over pasta, spoon onto pizza, or use as desired.
