Rich & Flavorful Campbells Tomato Sauce | Easy Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) Campbell’s tomato sauce
  • tbsp olive oil
  • small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tbs sugar
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Sauté aromatics: Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  • Add tomato sauce: Pour in Campbell’s tomato sauce and stir to combine.
  • Season: Add basil, oregano, sugar, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir well.
  • Simmer: Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste & adjust: Taste and tweak seasoning as needed.
  • Serve: Pour over pasta, spoon onto pizza, or use as desired.
